With Office 365 (O365) rolling out to staff across our University over the coming year, our awareness raising week in partnership with Microsoft, named Waffle Week, aims to help you get to know Office 365.
The ‘Waffle’ icon is a visual representation of the toolbox of apps that make up O365.
Launch Event, in partnership with Microsoft
Monday, January 28 12:30 – 15:00 at the Nuffield Theatre
Staff from all areas of the University are invited to join us at the booth in the foyer of the Nuffield Theatre. The programme includes
- Session 1: Introduction to Microsoft Teams
- US-based Microsoft Product Manager, Dominic Williamson, will join us on campus to host a hands-on introductory workshop for Microsoft Teams (Unfortunately this session is fully booked. We will be hosting other intro events beginning in February).
- Session 2: Introduction to SharePoint Online
Our in-house SharePoint specialist, Peter Gibbs, will host an introductory workshop to demonstrate the new and improved SharePoint Online (We have added a second session register for the second SharePoint workshop here).
Office 365 Waffle Week: 5-Minute Daily Reads.
For the remainder of the week, we will release a 5-minute daily read for each of more commonly used Office 365 apps. Each will include an introduction to the app, when to use it, some learning resources to get your started and a few handy app hacks.
