Sport and Wellbeing are hosting a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Theory course on Highfield Campus this term, from 2 February – 2 March 2019.
This advanced course is for more experienced skippers, providing them with the theoretical knowledge required for the Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Practical Examination. It is recommended that candidates have prior knowledge to the level of day skipper or equivalent, as the course requires a high level of independent work.
This will prepare students with the navigational theory required to complete the Coastal Skipper Course as well as the Yachtmaster Coastal and Offshore practical exams.
The course runs on Tuesday evenings from 18:00–21:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00–17:00 on the following dates:

- 19 February
- 23 February
- 26 February
- 2 March

- Peak Performer and Frequent Fitness Members – £210
