LGBT+ History Month runs from 1 February – 28 February 2019. This year’s national themes are: love, reconciliation, activism and celebration.
Led by the Students’ Union and in collaboration with the LGBT+ Student Society, a variety of events to celebrate LGBT+ History have been announced.
Professor Sir Christopher Snowden will be raising the rainbow flag on Friday 1 February at 09:00 alongside the LGBT+ Student Society President to mark the beginning of the month’s events.
You can find a list of events in the table below, including external events such as Student Pride (London). You can also visit SUSU’s events page and the SUSU LGBT+ page.
As well as events taking place across our campuses, keep an eye on SUSSED News for a series of posts featuring staff and student stories around their experience of LGBT+.
If you have any questions, please contact SUSU by emailing: [email protected]
