Get involved in National Careers Week 2019, taking place between 4 and 9 March. It is the perfect opportunity for you to take part in a range of events and activities being organised by the Careers and Employability Service, all of which have been designed to help you improve your employability and support your career goals.
During the week, there will be over 20 events across the University with a majority being open to students of all year groups and degree disciplines.
Daily careers drop-ins will be taking place in the Careers Centre in Building 37. These 10 minute appointments are designed to support you with any aspect of your career, from career choices to reviewing CVs, covering letters or personal statements. You just need to turn up during the drop-in opening hours (with a printed copy of your document if you are looking for a review) and you will be booked in to see the next available adviser. For more information, please visit the Careers website.
The main event of the week is the Spring Careers Fair taking place on Tuesday 5 March at Highfield Campus. Did you know last year over 1,000 students came along? The Fair is open to all students and will have over 75 organisations in attendance. Join the event on Facebook.
