The Transportation Research Group (TRG) is looking for rail users to take part in a focus group to explore passengers’ travel behaviour while travelling in crowded conditions.
In the focus group, along with other participants, you will discuss your opinions about travelling in crowded situations and getting a seat.
Your responses will help the group develop design solutions to reduce overcrowding on trains. Participants will be gifted £10 to thank you for your time and voluntary cooperation.
Participant requirements:
- You are aged over 18
- You are a UK rail user and are used to the systems (journey planning; ticket search, purchase, and validation; seat reservation; turn-up-and-go service)
- You are a frequent train traveller making more than one journey per week
- You prefer to sit than stand while travelling on the train
Date, Time, and Location
