Students from all disciplines are invited to join a distinguished line of volunteers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to improve recycling at our University.
The highly anticipated Waste Wars is back for its 13th year on Wednesday 6 March and there are 100 volunteer places available. You can reserve your place through the Waste Wars Eventbrite page.
Every year, a motivated group of our students and staff work together to audit waste from our campuses and calculate how much we’re recycling. The data tells us how well we’re doing against our goals and helps us to develop ideas for improvements at the University.
The event will take place at the Boiler House, Wessex Lane Halls, starting at 13:45. A special Waste Wars bus will leave from the Highfield Campus interchange at 13:30.
