The University is pleased to invite our community of staff and students to the launch of our India Centre for Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development. The vision for the centre is to become a globally recognised think-tank for innovation, knowledge transfer and capacity building.
The occasion will be marked with our first India Day on Wednesday 13 March, to celebrate the relationships and transformative work that has been achieved in partnership with India.
Come along and further enrich our collective understanding of India, network with others over food and drink, and enjoy the arts of Indian culture.
The day will consist of insightful talks covering higher education, democracy, medical opportunities, cricket, entrepreneurship and so much more! Please book your place on the daytime programme here.
The Hartley Library will also have an Indian Art Exhibition on display throughout the day.
The evening will bring an opportunity to enjoy the sound and colours of India with both traditional and modern music and dance. Please book your place at the evening event here.
