Free seminar: Graphic methods in social research

All staff and students involved in sociology research are invited to attend a free seminar on ‘Graphic methods in social research’, organised by QUEST (Qualitative Expertise at Southampton).

Booking in advance is not required, just turn up on the day.

Sociology researcher and former NCRM PhD student Rachel Ayrton will present ‘How creative and multimodal methods can help researchers to theorise and design better research.’

Rachel will be joined by Dr Oli Williams from King’s College London, who will discuss using graphics for disseminating research findings in his presentation ‘Illustrating the reflexive embodiment of weight-based stigma’.

QUEST is part of the National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM), based at our University in partnership with the University of Manchester and University of Edinburgh.
