Coming to Nuffield Southampton Theatre (NST) Campus next week, Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro’s masterpiece ‘Remains of the Day’ has entranced many generations as a novel.
Its story of memory, regret and undeclared love is now re-imagined on the stage for the first time by Barney Norris in collaboration with Ishiguro himself.
Staff at our University are entitled to half-price tickets on the show between Tuesday 2 and Saturday 6 April.

Stephen Boxer will play the butler Stevens with Niamh Cusack cast in the role of Kenton, roles previously portrayed by Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson in the much-loved film. Boxer’s numerous stage roles include Stories, Macbeth and King Lear (National Theatre) and Regeneration (Royal & Derngate and Touring Consortium Theatre Company). Cusack’s stage credits include My Brilliant Friend at Rose Theatre Kingston and The Winter’s Tale at Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
