VC Awards 2019: less than a month to make your nominations

There’s less than a month left for staff and students to submit nominations for the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards 2019.

The awards are a great way of recognising and celebrating our talented staff. Take a look at a list of this year’s 12 award categories, and pick the one(s) that best suit the colleague(s) you have in mind, before completing our nomination form.

As well as including your own thoughts on why you believe a particular member of staff/team deserves to win an award, you can strengthen your nominations by looking up the individual or team’s line manager via the University’s organisational charts, and getting in touch with them to request detailed feedback or analytics on their line report’s achievements. They might have broken a team record for the most student enquiries answered in a day, for example, maybe they came up with an idea which sparked an amazing campaign, or perhaps they’ve played a pivotal role in bringing impactful research to light.

Please remember that nominations don’t necessarily require analytics, in order to be successfully shortlisted or go on to win an award!

All nominated colleagues will be informed of their nomination in June 2019.

You’ve got until 17:00 on Friday 31 May 2019 to make someone’s day by nominating them for a VC Award.

For more information, please visit the awards homepage or email Geraldine Witt.
