This July, the International Conference on Energy and Cities 2019 (ICEC2019) will be taking place here in Southampton with the aim of addressing energy usage in cities, with particular emphasis on renewable energy and energy efficiency within, and beyond, city boundaries. The Conference covers technical and policy aspects needed to propel cities into low carbon pathways.

We have over 10 internationally renowned academics and city leaders lined up for the conference. In addition to these, the conference brings contributions from local authorities, policy makers and industry. The conference is also open to MSc, PhD students and young researchers.
