All staff and students are invited to cycle – and encourage others to do so – during #BikeWeekUK (8 – 16 June).
Love to Ride is a fun, free programme with fantastic prizes available for riding your bike and encouraging others to do so too.
Everyone can take part; it doesn’t matter if you ride every day or you haven’t ridden a bike in years. Just ride anywhere, anytime in June and log it on Love to Ride to be entered into the prize draw for daily giveaways of bikes, cycling gear, vouchers and top prizes of £750 bike shop vouchers or a European city break.
There’s also an additional prize draw for logging a ride on Clean Air Day on Thursday 20 June.
In preparation for Bike Week make sure you come to the Bike Doctor event today (Friday 31 May) on Redbrick from 09:30 – 14:00. This will include:
- Bike Doctor – If your bike needs some TLC, bring it down for a free safety check and minor repairs (please note parts are payable).
- Love to Ride – whether you ride a bike already and want to get involved, or you think you’d like to give it a go but have some questions, come along and talk to Jo, our local project manager from Love to Ride.
