Earlier this year, in celebration of Women in Science Engineering and Technology (WiSET) welcoming humanities to become WiSET+, the team put a call out for creative responses to the theme ‘Women in Academia’.
The completed works have now been collated to be displayed in two spectacular exhibitions:
- 19 – 22 June – John Hansard Gallery, Guildhall Square, Southampton SO14 7DU
- 26 – 29 June – The Gallery, Winchester School of Art, Park Ave, Winchester SO23 8DL
John Hansard Gallery has also organised a free, family-friendly workshop for Saturday 22 June 12:00 – 16:00. There is no need to book in advance.
Families can choose to enter their creations into the competition for the ‘Children’s Award’, and entries will be exhibited in the Winchester School of Art, after which we will return the work back to you.
