You are invited to join Rt Hon. Helen Clark ONZ – former Prime Minister of New Zealand – at an ‘In Conversation’ lecture on Thursday 25 July from 18:00 – 19:00 in Building 67, Highfield Campus. Tea and coffee will be served from 17:30 in the foyer of the building.
This event is part of the University of Southampton’s Distinguished Lecture series, and Helen will be joined by Professor Jane Falkingham, Dean of Social Sciences, to discuss ‘Women in Leadership’.

In 2009, Helen became Administrator for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She was the first woman to lead the organisation and served two terms there. As Administrator, she led UNDP to be ranked the most transparent global development organisation.
Helen’s campaign to become the UN Secretary General was covered by Gaylene Preston in the documentary ‘My Year with Helen’.
