The Office 365 project is looking for colleagues across the University to join the Office 365 Advisory Group. Members of the Advisory Group will feedback on the use of Office 365 and its various apps across the University community helping to ensure that users and colleagues are supported.. You could be an expert in Office 365 or a complete novice just starting to use the software. What’s important is that you’re prepared to provide feedback on your experience of using Office 365 and the views of your colleagues. This will help the Office 365 team to provide the right support and information on Office 365 and its tools.
The Advisory Group aims to provide:
- two-way communications between the project and colleagues
- an opportunity for the University community to get involved in the roll-out of Office 365 suite of tools and apps
- an opportunity for the project to receive structured feedback on project plans and proposals
- a voice for users who may not be able to make use of other feedback mechanisms

Nic Monks, Learning Facilitator, says: “I encourage you to support the Advisory Group. I’m fortunate that in my training role I get to engage with staff at all levels across the University and know first-hand the value of the insights and grounding these relationships provide. Through the work I’ve been doing on the University’s MOST (Microsoft Office Specialist Training) programme I’ve also seen the drive and passion our staff bring to their work and networks. With a broad and diverse membership in the Advisory Group, I really believe that we have the opportunity to ensure the Office 365 project delivers real value across the University.”
