We’re top of the leaderboard for Southampton in the global challenge, Cycle September and in 8th position nationally. Help us climb even higher by joining in!
Responding to the score, Adam Tewkesbury, Associate Director, Transport and Sustainability said:
“The competition is tiered by business size and we’re leading the ‘large employer’ table, that’s employers with over 2000 staff – so this is a great achievement. If people register for the challenge, it’s likely we could get even higher nationally.”
How to join in
We joined the challenge, which runs for the month of September, to encourage more people to get on their bikes.
Individuals and workplaces are competing to see who can earn the most points which are earned for every mile and day you ride, plus every person you encourage. The more points you earn, the further you climb up the leaderboards and the better your chances of winning prizes including holidays, bikes, gear, vouchers and much more.
You can ride anywhere, anytime during September – just a 10 minute ride is enough to take part. It only takes 30 seconds to register at lovetoride.net/southampton
