All staff at Level 4 and above who are considering promotion, on the Education, Research and Enterprise (ERE) pathway, are invited to attend a launch event on Tuesday 1 October 2019 from 12:30-14:00, in Building 37, Senate Room, Highfield Campus.
The session will be hosted by Professor Mark Spearing, Vice-Chancellor (Interim) and Vice-President (Research and Enterprise) and is a good opportunity to understand more about the career pathways and assessment criteria, how to prepare an excellent application, as well as details of the process. There will be a question and answer session at the end to address any specific queries.
As our monitoring data shows that women have been less likely than men to make applications for promotion (but are just as likely to succeed when they do so), we would particularly encourage women to attend. However, the session is open to all people who might be considering applying for promotion.
