A 3-month pilot campaign launched today in three of our buildings on Highfield Campus to reduce unnecessary and wasted electricity consumption.
It will take place in Buildings 53 (Mountbatten) pictured above and Buildings 44 (Shackleton) and 85 (Life Sciences) below.
Staff are being asked to support the campaign by turning off lights and equipment when not needed.
The initiative, run by the Estates Energy Team, is part of our ongoing programme to reduce emissions and tackle climate change and will also help to lower costs, allowing us to reinvest in our estate.
