Our staff recruitment system, Stonefish has been redesigned to improve the applicant’s experience, from the time they are offered the job to the start of their employment.
The new functionality will provide the following benefits:
A new ‘My Recruitment Dashboard’ where all users can see an overview of their actions and anything that requires their immediate attention (e.g. contracts waiting to be signed, pre-employment forms to complete, pending applications to be submitted).
A new ‘My Pre-employment’ area where successful applicants can:
- Complete and submit their pre-employment checks online.
- Access useful information about working at the University prior to their start date.
A new ‘Contractual Documentation’ area where successful applicants can:
- Access ‘Conditional’ contracts while undergoing pre-employment checks.
- Sign their contract online.
Hiring Managers (Chairs) can now see in ‘Vacancy Management’:
- Where the successful applicant is in the pre-employment process.
- Receive notifications as key parts of the pre-employment process are completed.
The introduction of this new functionality will make the whole process more transparent.
All offer forms submitted in eRecruit from 14:00 on Wednesday 11 September will now follow the new online Pre-employment/Contract process. Online user guides have been updated and all Recruiting Managers in eRecruit have been notified of the improvements to this part of the process.
