Public Policy|Southampton Policy Training

Public Policy|Southampton build and maintain strategic partnerships with local, national and international policymakers through bespoke event management, social media campaigns, policy brief development and training for policymakers. Their core aim is to ‘change the world for the better’ by engaging policymakers with evidence produced at the University.

The first of their autumn 2019 policy trainings, held on 16 October with former Secretary of State and University of Southampton Alumnus John Denham (pictured), was a great success. The session provided an exciting opportunity for researchers with a public policy impact goal in mind to interact in small groups and learn what works well when communicating evidence to senior policymakers.
