One week to go: De-Stress Day

Held to mark National Stress Awareness Week, staff and students are invited to take part in De-Stress Day from 10:00 – 14:00 on Wednesday 6 November at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS) campus.

There will be a variety of stalls as well as neck and shoulder massages, mini health checks and even a smoothie bike. You can get to NOCS easily via public transport using the UniLink U1C bus. Please be aware that University parking permits will not work at NOCS.

The main event will be open from 10:00 – 14:00 in the Seminar Room.

In addition to the workshops listed below, there will also be two sessions of yoga to participate in. You can book your yoga session here.

Details of the other workshops and seminars:

  • 10:00 -11:00 – Hypnosis for Sleep*** please note that spaces for this session have now sold out. There may be no-shows on the day, so you can still stop by to check.
  • 10:00 – 14:00 – Mini health checks with Active Nation
  • 11:00 – 12:30 – Wellbeing at work… It’s complicated: Some of the factors and a few of the solutions
  • 12:00 – 12:30 and
    • 12:30 – 13:00  Yoga with Sport and Wellbeing
  • 12:30 – 14:00 – in5 with mc schraefel
