Remembrance Day Service: Monday 11 November

A Remembrance Day Service, organised by the Faith and Reflection Centre, will take place on Monday 11 November at the Jubilee Plaza (between Hartley Library and Building 85), Highfield Campus. The 20-minute service will begin at 10:50 and end at 11:10.

The service will include a two minute silence, the last post and the laying of wreaths to allow people to remember those who have died and suffered as a result of war.

All staff, students and University visitors are welcome to attend, but staff are asked to check and support local arrangements in their departments, to ensure that appropriate cover is in place.

There are various places around the University campuses where you can get your poppy. Representatives from Southampton University Naval Reserve Unit (UNRU) will also be in the area outside SUSU at various times between now and 11 November.
