Launching this January, the Living at Home Students’ Commuter Fund is here to support living at home students, from low participation areas, with the cost of their commute to University.
If you are an undergraduate student who commutes from your permanent home address to study then you may be eligible to apply to the Commuter Fund. The Fund offers a non-repayable financial contribution of up to £200 per academic year to help towards your daily travel costs.
The University recognises that students who remain living at home and commute to University can face obstacles to getting involved; as such, the Commuter Fund hopes to ease the financial barriers to participation and ensure inclusion in university life.
Applying could not be easier and should only take a few minutes of your time; however, the fund is limited so please apply as soon as possible to ensure you benefit from this support.
You will find further information on eligibility criteria and how to apply here.
