The Open Flight Deck project team is looking for participants to take part in their study on testing touchscreens under turbulent conditions.
When
Testing dates are between 24-28 February and 2-6 March 2020.
Where
The tests take place at the 6-axis vibration simulator (Building 19/ Room 1041).
What
Over a period of two hours you will be using a touchscreen under different vibrations conditions.
Why
You will be contributing to research with applications in the design of future flight decks and you will be gifted £10 to cover out of pocket travel expenses and as compensation for time spent participating in the study.
Further inclusion criteria
You must be right handed, between 5’3” – 6’3” tall, aged 18-65, not wear bifocals (other glasses are okay), and have no long term chronic pain issues.
