The National Student Survey (NSS) launches today

The National Student Survey (NSS) launches today, Thursday 6 February.

The National Student Survey (NSS) is for final year undergraduates across the UK and is a unique opportunity for them to share their views on their student experience.

If you’re eligible to fill out the survey, you’ll be sent an email invitation containing a personalised link to take part.

The results of the NSS are factored into the University’s planning process and participating in the NSS can be a legacy that helps us directly improve the experience of Southampton students.

The survey itself is conducted independently by Ipsos MORI.

For students who do not fill in the survey, they will be reminded with further emails and follow up phone calls from Ipsos MORI. The phone calls will start three weeks after the survey begins. Students will be sent further reminders throughout the survey, so we recommend completing it as early as possible.

Surveys will also open today for:

  • Southampton Student Survey (SSS)
  • Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)
  • Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)

You can find out more information about each survey on the Student Voice SharePoint.
