There are summer schools all around the world, throughout Europe, Australia & New Zealand, China, Japan, South Korea, Canada, the Americas, and more! You will be given the chance to go on exhilarating field trips and meet people from a wide variety of backgrounds. Taking part in a summer school will give you the opportunity to further your studies in a discipline you are currently studying, or to choose something completely different to your degree. This study abroad experience is unique as it is available to Undergraduate students of all years, as well as Postgraduate students.

Every successful student attending a Summer School will be eligible for The Southampton University Scholarship, receiving £500 to put towards their trip. Some Universities also offer additional scholarships, so make sure to check each website carefully.

If your interest hasn’t already been sparked, take a look at testimonials from students that have actually attended worldwide summer schools previously.

Summer schools are open to students at all stages of their degree, including final year undergraduates and Masters level students. You will be required to research and apply independently for your chosen Summer School but if you are successful in your application you must contact the Study Abroad & Exchange team. If you have any questions, please get in contact with the Study Abroad and Exchange Team at [email protected]
