With just over a month to go until the clocks go forward, warmer weather and lighter evenings are on the horizon, and with the Easter vacation fast approaching, we wanted to remind you of a few tips to nurture your wellbeing.

Connect with someone.

Talking with your friends and family, a member of University Staff, or dropping in to see Enabling Services or the SUSU Advice Centre can be really helpful, as it is a chance to take charge of your own wellbeing and reconnect with others.

Remember!

You are unique and following your own path. Everyone is different, so try not to compare yourself to others.

Be savvy with your self care.

When you’re feeling low, it can be useful to know some self-care techniques. Maintaining simple healthy habits such as eating healthily, staying hydrated, unplugging from your screens, and exercising regularly can make a great difference to your mental health.

Remember!

Exercising doesn’t just have to be just a gym session, the Student’s Union has hundreds of societies and clubs to choose from to get involved in.

How do I find more information?

Enabling Services has a variety of self-help resources for you to try. Their online workshops cover low mood, exam and dissertation stress, and sleeping difficulties, and their self-help guides contain information about a range of topics.
