From February 2019, all content within Lynda.com was migrated across to LinkedIn Learning.
All links to content within Lynda.com now need to be manually replaced with a new user-friendly link to the same content within the LinkedIn Learning library. Links to Lynda.com will cease to work from 31 March 2020, with users redirected to an error page where they will not be able to access the content.
What do I need to do now?
It is best for users if you share Single Sign-On (SSO) links to LinkedIn Learning courses and videos so they are taken directly to a university authentication page, rather than to a generic LinkedIn Learning landing page. SSO allows us to authenticate our staff and students and notify LinkedIn Learning that the user has a current account at the university.
Links in Blackboard to Lynda.com will also need to be deleted and replaced with a new link to the same content in LinkedIn Learning.
