Women in Science, Engineering, Technology and Humanities (WiSET+): Campbell Lecture 2020

WiSET+ would like to invite you their annual Campbell lecture. This year, Professor Diana Eccles, Dean of Medicine and Professor of Cancer Genetics at the University of Southampton, and the university’s Athena Swan lead, will give an inspirational talk about her outstanding career.

This talk will be held on Monday 16th March at 2pm, with refreshments and networking afterwards.

The Campbell Lecture forms a key part of the WiSET+ visibility project, which aims to showcase the work of female academics at all career stages both locally and internationally. It is named in honour of Ishbel Campbell (1906-1997), a reader in Chemistry, who was one of the founding academics of the University of Southampton, a committed teacher and an inspiration for women in science.

The lecture is open to staff and students across the University. If you would like to attend the event please register for tickets.

If you would like more information about WiSET+ please visit the WiSET+ website.
