Your wellbeing: keep fit from your front room

Sport and Wellbeing have launched free virtual fitness and wellbeing classes for staff and students who are working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jo Pacey, Wellbeing Supervisor (pictured above giving a stretch class) is one of the team who’ll be providing the sessions. You can find a timetable of the classes here and you can watch and join in via Facebook.

Once the classes have aired, you can find them on YouTube. In addition, the team are promoting their Does You Good virtual campaign, offering a range of advice to support fitness and wellbeing goals.

This includes online complimentary fitness guidance via their Twitter pages. Qualified team members will be on hand to answer your queries, every morning from 10:00 – 12:00 midday and every evening from 15:00 to 17:00. Simply tweet your query by using the #DYGCoach hashtag.

Health and Wellbeing has provided a range of advice for staff including team resilience, guidance for vulnerable adults, setting up your home workstation and maintaining positive wellbeing whilst working from home.
