We are delighted to continue with our Bite-sized Lecture Series. Last summer we were honoured to have the Rt Hon. Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand and former Administrator for the United Nations Development Programme deliver a hugely popular ‘in conversation’ lecture focusing on ‘Women in Leadership’ on campus.
Professor Jane Falkingham, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, talked to Helen about her vast experience of her role in politics including being only the second female prime minister in New Zealand to a sell-out audience. During Helen’s visit to the University she was also awarded an honorary degree.
We are delighted to bring you a 20-minute highlights section of the lecture:
In case you have missed any of the previous releases from this series you can watch them here.
New lectures will be uploaded every Thursday at 11am GMT to the site here (Perfect length for a lunch break…).
