Social Impact Lab: The Portal series continues

After a successful and insightful first episode from the new Portal series, the Social Impact Lab will be joined by third year Psychology student and UniPal founder, Laura Smith to talk about student loneliness.

Laura Smith has always been a people-person. During her three years of studying Psychology at the University of Southampton, Laura has launched campaigns with the Students Union to raise awareness of loneliness as an issue and worked to demystify and dispel harmful stereotypes associated with feeling alone through her app, Unipal. She aims to make loneliness an issue that is talked about. It is her hope to pioneer a solution to the epidemic that is student loneliness and to cultivate a connected, educated and empathetic University community.

Join us at 17:00 every Tuesday on Facebook Live, as we try to make sense of and shape the new normal and reimagine the world anew.
