Invitation to join music webinar with Anil Srinivasan today

The University of Southampton India Centre, in association with the School of Music, proudly present High Tea, a live music webinar – Melody in Harmony with India’s most engaging and inspiring pianist Anil Srinivasan on Wednesday 27 May at 15:00. The webinar will include a live piano performance with a discussion on the power of music to enhance our wellbeing and work-life balance, for both students and staff in these challenging times.

Anil Srinivasan is a celebrated Indian pianist, a passionate academic, music educationist, a community champion and writer. He was educated at Columbia University and University of Southern California, and trained in both Indian and Western classical music. He is renowned for creating original aesthetic touch in music integrating Indian Classical and Western Classical.

In association with Rhapsody – Education Through Music and the NGO NalandaWay, Anil has provided free training to more than 200,000 children from disadvantaged communities. He has performed in many international venues including The Lincoln Center in New York, the South Bank Centre in London, the Esplanade in Singapore, The Harbour Front Centre in Toronto and The Ashram in Pondicherry, South India. His television programme “Sundays with Anil and Karky” is one of the most popular South Indian music shows aired by Zee TV.

The University of Southampton India Centre is celebrating the living bridge by connecting arts, culture and community cohesion.
