We’re very pleased to bring you the June issue of your staff magazine, Staff Matters.
Alongside the challenges of lockdown there are many achievements to recognise and celebrate in this month’s issue.
Stories featured this month include a personal reflection on working on a COVID-19 ward at the height of the pandemic, as well as updates on several COVID-19 research projects and the people behind them. You can also find out about a whole host of honours being celebrated across many disciplines. We meet a colleague in the Hartley Library, who is also a children’s author, and also talk to our new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager.

Do you have a story to share?
For more than a year Staff Matters has highlighted many facets of life across our University. We continue to be enthused by the willingness of colleagues to share their stories – do keep sending your photos, texts and videos in, as we’d love to feature as many people, teams and campuses as possible.
