Paid opportunities to help feed the nation this summer

The Careers and Employability Service is pleased to share information about paid job opportunities with you, as part of the Pick for Britain campaign.

This campaign has been created to advertise the numerous and diverse roles that are available to help ensure that farms are well resourced this summer. It is a rare opportunity during the COVID – 19 pandemic to get paid to work outside. Farms across the UK require employees to help pick their crops, as well as many other important roles.

Though the work may be physically demanding with potentially long hours, there are many benefits to taking part, including:

  •  meeting new people,
  • working outdoors,
  • receiving a paid weekly income and,
  • the opportunity to learn new skills over the summer.

Applications close 31 July.
