During lockdown, many of our key worker colleagues continued to be required on campus to help the University to adapt and respond to the crisis, to maintain essential services, and to ensure the safety and security of students and other staff members who remained on campus or in halls during this period.
Reflecting the nature of the Staff Achievement Awards, which are awarded for making an outstanding contribution to the University, one-off recognition payments will be made this month to those key workers at Levels 1-3 who were required to attend campus during the severest part of lockdown to perform these important roles.
