Registration now closed for COVID-19 Testing Programme

Thank you to everyone who has registered for the Southampton COVID-19 Testing Programme over the last two weeks.

More than 6,000 staff and household members have signed up, and the final test packs have now been despatched for delivery by Royal Mail.

Our experience with other cohorts across the city has shown that a small number of these packs may be delayed in the post. Final tests can be taken as late as Friday 24 July and we hope as many of you as possible will be able take part before the end of the programme.

We’re also aware that a technical issue means a very small number of people have not been correctly logged in the system and will not receive a pack. These people will not have received a text message to let them know that their registration was successful. Unfortunately it is now too late to re-register.

We’re sorry if you are affected by this and not able to participate, but we are still incredibly grateful for your time and interest in this work. This is a pilot programme and we have already learnt a great deal about what will be required to make this kind of regular testing work for larger populations.

If you have any questions about taking your test, please contact the programme’s Enquiries team. Please note that they will not be able to despatch new test packs.
