In their seventh episode of the Portal series, the Social Impact Lab will be welcoming the talented Shabana Azmi, an internationally celebrated Film and Theatre actress, who believes art should be used as an instrument for social change.

Shabana is highly respected as a social activist and is a tireless campaigner for the rights of women, slum dwellers and the underprivileged. She heads up the Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS) working to empower girls in rural India. MWS works on education, primary health and sanitation, skill development and employment generation.
