Our Staff, Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) and Students are invited to register now to take part in this year’s Human Worlds Festival, the University’s annual Humanities-based festival organised by the Public Engagement with Research unit (PERu).
This will take place in November to coincide with the national Being Human Festival, and this year’s theme is ‘New Worlds’.
The Festival will run from Thursday 12 to Sunday 22 November and you will be able to contribute to two different formats:
- Human Worlds Digital
- Hands-on Humanities Day or other self-organised in-person events
Hands on Humanities Day is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday 14 November, at the Avenue Campus, depending upon Government and University guidelines closer to the time.
Human Worlds Digital will run through the whole length of the festival. All digital content will be hosted on the official website.
This year you will be also able to contribute digital content to Black History Month as we are welcoming relevant virtual events and activities to be featured on the Human Worlds website.
All submissions must be made through the official website using the ID and passwords provided on our ‘How to get involved’ webpage on the PERu website.
If you’re new to Human Worlds, please watch the video from last year’s Hands-on Humanities Day.
If you’re interested in being involved but would like help to get your idea off the ground or have any questions about the festival, you can email the Festival team at [email protected]
