The University of Southampton has been successful in all three of its COVID-19 response bids entered for Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) development fund awards where our researchers sparked new partnerships and collaborations with WUN partners. Of the 89 bids submitted only eight were successful. Each award is for £10K and is disbursed immediately.

The purposes of this study are to assess the stress and resilience levels of pregnant health care workers and their partners to administer a randomized controlled trial of an innovative and simple intervention to reduce stress and anxiety and promote resilience in this very special group of front line health care providers.
Understanding evidence pathways and government decision-making in response to Covid-19: a multi-country comparative analysis

This project draws on shared expertise in science advice, policy studies and philosophy of science as well as our membership of the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA). At the core of the collaboration is this research question: which domains of expertise are governments engaging to help them come to decisions and shape responses?
