The University is retiring Skype for Business on 1 August 2020, which will therefore no longer be available to use for staff and students.
Microsoft announced earlier this year that Skype For Business would be retired and urged customers to migrate to Microsoft Teams.
Microsoft Teams includes all the current functionality of Skype For Business. Teams can act as a hub for communication, collaboration and teamwork for colleagues across our University through storing meetings, files and apps together in one place.
In the remaining time ahead of 1 August 2020, if you need our support to use the replacement, Microsoft Teams, then please complete a very short form to let us know how we can help.
Please note, this only relates to Skype for Business, linked to your university account, it does not affect personal Skype accounts that you may use.
