In an initiative led by Electronics an Computer Science (ECS) and funded by the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences (FEPS) for the next 3 years, the Library is pleased to announce that Overleaf Professional accounts are now available to all students and staff at the University of Southampton via our portal.
Overleaf is a popular LaTeX/Rich Text based writing and collaboration platform for students and researchers alike. It makes the process of research, writing, editing and publishing scientific documents quicker and easier. Researchers and students can now write, collaborate, teach, review and publish directly from their Overleaf accounts.
We have partnered with Overleaf to provide you with customised writing templates (including theses, dissertations, and grants); real-time collaboration for sharing, editing and tracking changes; managing references; syncing with Dropbox and GitHub; learning guides and publishing/repository submission links directly from the Overleaf platform. Created with the goal of making science and research faster, more open and more accessible, Overleaf brings the whole scientific documentation process into one place, from idea to writing to review to publication.
