A level results are officially released today and a cast of hundreds across our University is working flat out to make Clearing a success.
Colleagues will be performing many vital roles. Scores of staff members will be answering calls to the Hotline; marketing colleagues continue to work on online and offline advertising; iSolutions continue to ensure our IT infrastructure (Teams) can support the extra traffic; Data Analytics and Insight provide data analysis; Global Recruitment and Admissions staff and tutors will be making offers to applicants and delivering our virtual clearing open days.
David Winstanley, Director of Global Recruitment and Admissions says: “Confirmation and Clearing is the highlight of the admissions cycle. We see in one week the fruition of hard work undertaken throughout the year by academic and professional services colleagues alike to encourage students to apply to Southampton. Clearing this year will be like no other, with our hotline operating remotely and colleagues taking calls in their homes from hopeful students. I want to thank everyone across our University who is helping to make this period a success.”
