To continue to improve the security of our IT, from Wednesday 21 October any email sent to a University email account from a non-university account will include a warning banner.
This warning banner is purely informational and is intended to highlight to the recipient the origins of the email and to prompt them into thinking carefully about the content of the email.
To help protect yourself and the University from cyber security attacks, you can familiarise yourself with phishing tactics – know what to look for in phishing attack emails so you can recognise them.
You can also report suspicious emails – if you receive a suspicious email, report them using the report feature in Outlook and delete them.
