The University would like to invite you to view our virtual exhibition setting out our plans for the demolition of Stoneham Tower and the future of South Stoneham House.
South Stoneham has been part of the University’s Wessex Lane Hall complex since the 1960s. The buildings have been out of use for around 15 years and the tower was scaffolded in recent years as issues arose with the building. After a delay the University is now ready to consult on the future of the site starting with this exhibition on the planned demolition of the site’s 1960s buildings.
This exhibition has been developed to outline the first stage of the redevelopment plans in advance of the submission of applications for listed building consent and permission for the demolition of the post-1960s buildings.
Please do consult this document to view the plans for the site.
