Designed for students engaged in support from Enabling Services, the Assistive Technology (AT) Suite is the main area for assistive technology facilities within the University. It is located at Highfield Campus in Hartley Library (Level 2, Room 2047) and is available during normal library opening hours.
ATS key features:
- Calm, quiet environment
- Dual-screen computers with access to a variety of AT software
- Height adjustable desks and ergonomic chairs
- Space to use your own laptop
- Push door access and clear walkways
- A printer/photocopier with coloured paper (other printers are available on each floor of the library)
Students who would like to access the AT Suite will need to make a booking in advance. Bookings can be made through the Hartley Library Bookings page. Please note, bookings can be made for up to two hours in duration, however students can stay for longer if there is capacity. You will be required to make an additional booking in order to do this.
Bookings can be made for:
– Assistive Technology Suite – Height adjustable desk
– Assistive Technology Suite – Standard desk
Current measures in place to keep you safe:
– AT Suite use must be pre-booked (you may be asked to show your booking confirmation email to a member of the Library team)
– Study spaces are 2 metres apart (so face coverings are not required when you are sitting at your desk, but will be required when moving around the library)
– Cleaning materials are provided
