As a community we strive to be the best we can be, and this includes behaving in a way that is supportive, respectful and inclusive of others. We know that there are times when this does not happen – perhaps because of the circumstances, or perhaps because we find another person’s behaviour challenging.
Bullying UK suggest that, if you feel comfortable doing so and you believe the person will be receptive to feedback, you could speak to the person whose behaviour is causing an issue for yourself or others and ask them to stop. Often this challenging behaviour is a single incident, but in some cases it can become a repetitive theme and it’s important to identify and understand how to challenge this and seek support.
