Launching today: Staff and student pulse surveys

Our pulse surveys will give our staff and students an opportunity to provide feedback to the University on how the transition to new ways of working and learning, necessitated by COVID-19, is affecting them. This feedback will help us understand the extent to which staff and students feel supported, to identify what measures are working well, and to hear what we could do better.

All staff and students will receive an email today with a link to the pulse survey. The surveys will close at midnight on 14 December 2020. Results will be shared early next year and there will be a follow-up pulse survey in the Spring of 2021.

The survey is voluntary. At the start, you will be asked to provide your consent. You can withdraw consent or opt-out at any time by emailing [email protected]. All responses will be treated in strict confidence.

The survey adheres to the Market Research Society’s Code of Conduct and all personal data collected will comply with GDPR requirements. Internally, this survey has been given AREQA Ethics and Quality Assurance approval.
