Do you organise events as part of your role? Join the University’s Events Network.
The Events Network is run by Engagement & Advancement Events Team and is open to anyone who manages events across the University to join. It provides an opportunity for you to share ideas, ask questions and check on best practice.
Since March we have all had to adapt to the demand for online event content, keeping our audiences engaged and providing them with great experiences and highlighting the incredible work taking place at Southampton.
The Events Team, and others throughout the University, have had much success, reaching large global audiences, and this is an opportunity to come together to share key learnings and provide advice and tips.
The network will be running its first virtual meeting on Tuesday 15 December at 3pm – 4pm.
We Need You!
During the session, we are going to come together as a Network and use the meeting to discuss online events. We really want to get your views and input on how you’ve moved your content online – the support you’ve had from the University and how collectively we can look to improve. It is vital that as event professionals at the university, we pull together to ensure that we have the right infrastructure to deliver engaging and accessible events. The Events Team will also share some of their learnings and provide some advice and guidance for the year ahead.
