Last day to fill in staff and student pulse surveys which close at midnight

Thank you to the hundreds of staff and students who have already given their feedback to our pulse surveys.  They close at midnight tonight, so if you haven’t managed to complete it yet, there’s still time.

The surveys provide staff and students an opportunity to provide feedback to the University on how the transition to new ways of working and learning, necessitated by COVID-19, is affecting them.

This feedback will help us understand the extent to which staff and students feel supported and will help the University identify what measures are working well, and what we could do better.

All staff and students were sent an email with a link to the pulse survey on Tuesday 1 December.

Key points about the survey:

  • The survey is voluntary.
  • At the start, you will be asked to provide your consent.
  • You can withdraw consent or opt-out at any time by emailing [email protected]. Please also use this address if you have any queries about the surveys.
  • All responses will be treated in strict confidence.
  • Results will be shared early next year and there will be a follow-up pulse survey in the spring of 2021.

The survey adheres to the Market Research Society’s Code of Conduct and all personal data collected will comply with GDPR requirements. Internally, this survey has been given AREQA Ethics and Quality Assurance approval.
